Train the Trainer Course

Course Aim

This two-day practical training is to develop the participant’s knowledge, skills, techniques and confidence to deliver training with impact.

Learning Outcomes

At the end of the one-day training, the participant will be able to:

  • Describe Kolb Learning Cycle and its importance for training design and delivery
  • Explain learning styles and their relevance to designing and delivering training
  • Identify the qualities of a trainer
  • Demonstrate the training design and delivery processes and key activities
  • List personal action plan

Anyone new to training and facilitation, and anyone who needs knowledge, skills and practice to plan, prepare and deliver training.

Training Methods

The training course takes a blended learning approach and the training methods reflect all learning styles. There are interactive learning activities, assessment, presentations, individual and group-work, facilitation, discussions, and participant delivering a short training course.
